Steel plate cutting

Steel plate cutting refers to the process of dividing steel plates into desired shapes and sizes using mechanical or thermal methods. Steel plate cutting is widely used in industries such as construction, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding, and automobiles. Common cutting methods include flame cutting, plasma cutting, laser cutting, and waterjet cutting.

**Flame Cutting** Suitable for thicker carbon steel and low-alloy steel, with a cutting thickness of over 200mm. The oxygen and fuel gas ratio needs to be adjusted during operation, and the cutting speed should be controlled between 300-600mm/min.

**Plasma Cutting** Suitable for conductive materials such as stainless steel and aluminum. It offers high cutting speed and precision, with a typical cutting thickness between 1-30mm.

**Laser Cutting** High precision, suitable for thin plates (0.5-20mm). It offers fast cutting speeds, but the equipment cost is higher.

**Waterjet Cutting** Suitable for various materials, with no heat-affected zone. Cutting thicknesses can reach 150mm, but the speed is slower.
